Harare Mayor Councillor Jacob Mafume has found himself in a difficult position to highlight achievements by the Local Authority to improve service delivery in the capital city in 2022, as the year comes to an end.

Delivering an end of year message to the media and stakeholders in harare yesterday Mafume chronicled failures of the local authority.

The Local Authority has come under fire from residents for presiding over poor services. 

Government has had to intervene to help the city procure water treatment chemicals and in some cases avail resources to clear garbage.
