ZIMA holds a memorial service for health practitioners who succumbed to Covid- 19

The Zimbabwe Medical Association (ZIMA) on Wednesday held a memorial candle and prayer service, in remembrance of health practitioners who succumbed to Covid- 19, since the onset of the pandemic last year.

Speaking at the service in Harare, ZIMA secretary general Dr Bizmark Mateveke, implored all healthcare workers to get vaccinated saying, as frontline workers they remain at high risk of contracting the virus.

 Speaking at the same occasion, Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association president Dr Shingai Nyaguse, paid tribute to healthcare workers for their bravery in the fight against Covid- 19.
