President Emmerson Mnangagwa has challenged Zimbabweans especially youths to be patriotic and always further the national interests of their country.

President Mnangagwa made the call while addressing guests at a birthday dinner organised by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa to mark his 79th birthday anniversary at Statehouse in Harare on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, the first lady wished the president well and victory in the 2023 harmonised elections.

Senior government officials, church leaders and family members attended the African wear themed dinner.
