More than 30 companies under the banner of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers (CZR) have applied to participate in the forthcoming Expo 2020 Dubai, as mobilisation and preparations for the global showcase intensify.
The Expo 2020 Dubai, which was postponed due to covid-19, is scheduled to run from 1 October to 31 March next year.
In an interview with Zimpapers Radio News, CZR president Denford Mutashu said the expo will provide local companies with a chance to market their products and brand Zimbabwe to a global audience.
Zimbabwe will join 190 other countries for the global trade showcase, in the United Arab Emirates to be held under the theme “connecting minds, creating future”.
Zimbabwe’s participation at the expo is aimed at promoting the country’s investment opportunities across various sectors in the country.
