The Agriculture Marketing Authority (AMA) will now run Communal Cattle Auctions countrywide, as government steps up efforts to ensure farmers get value for livestock and uplift their livelihoods.
In an interview with Zimpapers Radio News AMA Manicaland Inspector Rose Rosario said all is set for such an auction under the programme which will be launched in the province in the coming days.
The initiative is in line with the Livestock Growth and Recovery Plan to draw maximum benefit from cattle rearing.
