President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged the national university of science and technology (NUST), to use its tech-novation and innovation centre to come up with inventions to solve the country’s socio-economic challenges.

The President said this when he laid a foundation stone at the tech-novation centre after capping more than 3 000 students who graduated at NUST in Bulawayo today

The centre is being built through funding from government as part of measures to promote education 5.0, which centres on innovation and engineering.

The university is also running an innovation hub and DNA centre which offer services to those outside the institution.
