National Assembly Speaker Advocate Jacob Mudenda has challenged African nations to take advantage of the vast natural resources on the continent to grow their economies. 

Advocate Mudenda said this during the 78th session of the Executive Committee 44th conference of Presidents of National Assemblies of the African Parliamentary Union, in Victoria Falls yesterday. 

The conference which ended yesterday ran under the theme: "the contribution of Parliaments in countering terrorism and violent extremism: mitigating the effects of this scourge through good governance.
