Government has extended the vaccination programme to 14 to 17 year olds.

This was said by Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa during a post-cabinet media briefing in Harare on Wednesday.

Minister Mutsvangwa added that government will donate 20 000 doses of vaccines to Namibia as part of efforts, to strengthen regional cooperation between the two countries.

So far, Zimbabwe has acquired 13 million doses out of the required 20 million, to achieve herd immunity.

Meanwhile government says it will prosecute unscrupulous fuel dealers who get foreign currency through the reserve bank of Zimbabwe auction system but charge fuel in foreign currency.
