Contemporary musician Jah Prayzah and South Africa’s songstress Makhadzi have dropped a single track titled Dzima ahead of their concert this weekend in Kadoma, the Midlands province.
The song was produced by Rodney Beatz and it's their second collaboration after Kokovha, a title track of Makhadzi's 2020 album.
In less than twenty-four hours, the song has garnered over 115 000 views on YouTube without visuals.
Taking to social media, Makhadzi said she can't wait to perform the song for the first time in Kadoma.
Meanwhile the MaGear hit maker is expected in the country on Saturday morning, ahead of the show later in the evening.
The Makhadzi and Jah Prayzah Live in Kadoma concert which is being organised by 2Kings Entertainment, will also feature local artists including urban grooves heavyweight ExQ, songstress Marceline “Marcy” Janyure, and will be hosted comedienne Madam Boss.
In an interview Dee Nosh of 2Kings Entertainment said preparations for the musical show are well on course.
He added that his company will be hosting more prominent local and foreign acts in smaller cities of the country, in a bid to promote tourism and culture.
"The upcoming music concert in Kadoma is another initiative to promote growth of tourism in the smaller cities. We have hosted Mafikizolo before as well in the city.
We will be having more shows in other provinces across the country headlined by big artists," he added.
Dee Nosh will host top South African DJ, Prince Kaybe in Chinhoyi on the 30th of this month.
