The stage is set for this year's edition of the Chibuku Road To Fame grand finale happening today at the Glamis Arena in Harare after a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Arguably the biggest national talent scouting programme courtesy of Delta Beverages in partnership with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, the event will see provincial finalists battle it out for the coveted first prize.
The provincial finalists include Orchestra Zealous from Bulawayo, Expressions Band representing Manicaland province under the Afro-fusion genre, Hi-Five (Mashonaland Central), Matabeleland South's Thokozani Super Sounds (Tshibilika) and Zimdancehall outfit The Originals from Mashonaland East.
In an interview Delta Corporation general manager and corporate affairs Patricia Murambinda said Chibuku Road to Fame Provincial Finals that kicked off in August this year, received more participants.
Meanwhile superstars including Winky D, Mark Ngwazi and Baba Harare, Tocky Vibes, ExQ, Godfather Templeman, DJ Mbali and the 2019 Chibuku Road to Show Fame winners, Identity Band, are billed to perform at the event which is free of charge.
