Incoming Turkey Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Berna Vesterdern has reaffirmed her country’s commitment to further strengthen ties with Harare.

She was briefing the media in the capital city this Tuesday , after paying a courtesy call on national assembly speaker, Advocate Jacob Mudenda.

Ambassador Vesterdern presented her letter of credence to President Emmerson Mnangagwa a fortnight ago marking her official mission in the country.

Relations between Zimbabwe and Turkey are on the mend.

The south eastern European country had previously sided with other nations against Harare's fast track land reform programme.
