Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Minister, Mangaliso Ndovu says the effects of Covid-19 continue to haunt local tourism amid calls for players in the sector to re-double their efforts to lure both local and foreign tourists.

In a speech read on his behalf by the Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Munesuishe Munodawafa during the Twalumba Travel/Tourism Awards-Trophy unveiling in Harare this Thursday, Minister Ndlovu implored tourism players to redefine their packages to lure visitors.

The Twalumba Awards seek to reward players who excel in their operations as well as create value for money for consumers in the process.
