Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) says no request has been made to extend the second phase of the mobile biometric voter registration blitz, which ends on Saturday.
ZEC spokesperson Jasper Mangwana told Star FM News that however, voter registration will continue at the 73 static centers across all provinces.
He added that close to 36 thousand people had registered by the 18th of April under the second phase blitz.
The 2nd blitz which commenced on the 11th of April comes ahead of a delimitation exercise to be carried out later this year.
