The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) says it is extending its fiscalisation project to a number of entities and sectors, as part of measures to minimise revenue leakages. Fiscalisation is the capturing of tax data or information on sales using fiscal gadgets. 

As businesses record their tax data and sales, the information is concurrently transmitted into the ZIMRA server and cannot be altered.

Speaking during a breakfast meeting in Harare on Wednesday, ZIMRA acting Commissioner Domestic Taxes, Misheck Govha said the authority has also expanded the system to cover informal traders.
