Zimbabwe, Rwanda forge new partnerships.

As the curtain comes down on the Zimbabwe - Rwanda Investment Conference, the two countries have deepened bilateral cooperation through forging partnership in a number of areas. 

Three memoranda of understanding (MOU's) have been signed ,while Zimbabwe and Rwanda have also agreed to work together in the areas of tourism, agriculture, education, mining among others.

Addressing a media conference in Harare on Wednesday, ZIMTRADE chief executive officer Mr Allan Majuru said CBZ Holdings Limited and the Bank of Kigali will facilitate the investment drive between the two countries.

Speaking at the same occasion, Rwanda Development Board deputy chief executive officer Zephanie Niyonkuru said Zimbabwe and Rwanda’s exports are set to boost following the conference.

The three MOUs that were were signed are on trade, investment and energy between Rwanda’s Private Sector Federation and the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce.
