Zimbabwe and Mozambique continue to cement economic relations with technical teams from the two countries yesterday meeting to lay the foundation for the signing of partnership agreements for cooperation in various sectors in April , when President Emmerson Mnangagwa visits the neighbouring country.
This was said by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Permanent Secretary Ambassador James Manzou, at the meeting which also reviewed the implementation of the outcome of a joint permanent commission of cooperation held in 2020.
Zimbabwe and Mozambique are pushing for the implementation of projects, including the setting up of one-stop border post, at Forbes-Machipanda and Nyamapanda-Cuchamano as well as the construction of a second fuel pipeline, from Beira to Mutare and Harare.
