President Emmerson Mnangagwa has handed over a fleet of 15 buses to various Government institutions to ease transport challenges faced by public sector employees.

Handing over the buses at State House in Harare today, the President reiterated that Government will continue to avail resources to facilitate smooth travel for its workforce. 

The buses were handed over to the Zimbabwe National Army, Air Force of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Zimbabwe Prisons & Correctional Services, Parliament of Zimbabwe and the Judicial Service Commission

In 2021, President Mnangagwa pledged to secure more buses to improve the transportation of public sector employees. The latest development comes as Government is importing buses to improve the country’s mass passenger transport system.
