The Zimbabwe Electroral Commission (ZEC), is set to launch the national-multi party stakeholder meeting, to pave way for the creation of dispute resolution committees ahead of the 26 March by-elections.
The stakeholder dialogue is part of an election roadmap that has seen Nomination Courts sitting to approve candidates to contest 28 national assembly and 122 local authority seats.
In a statement on Tuesday, ZEC said the meeting is open to participating political parties and independent candidates.
The electoral body further states that the meeting is a precursor to multi party liaison committee meetings to be held every Thursday at district and provincial levels, to ensure a peaceful campaign environment is maintained in the run up and after the by elections.
