The Southern African Development Community (SADC) extraordinary summit initially planned for this week in Malawi ,has been rescheduled for next week.
The summit is set to review progress of the SADC mission in Mozambique which was deployed to support the country in its efforts towards combating terrorism and acts of violent extremism.
In a statement released by the SADC Secretariat, the meetings will now take place in Lilongwe, on the 11th and 12th of this month.
Malawi's President Dr Lazarus Chakwera, in his capacity as the Chairperson of SADC, will lead the extraordinary summit.
