Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda has commended the United Nations (UN) country team for having a shared vision with government in the implementation of national and regional targets such as vision 2030 and the Africa agenda 2063.
Speaking during a UN- Zimbabwe joint steering committee meeting in Harare yesterday Dr Sibanda said the efforts will ensure improved livelihoods in the country.
Meanwhile UN program management chairperson and UNICEF representative in Zimbabwe Tajudeen Oyewale said a total of 450 million US dollars was used to support various initiatives in the country in 2022.
Zimbabwe and the UN established a sustainable development cooperation framework last year, aimed at promoting joint engagements in pursuit of attaining sustainable development goals.
