Property owners near Bulawayo central business district are fast turning their assets into business offices as space runs out in the city centre and companies prefer a quiet environment.

This was revealed by Bulawayo City Council town planning official Dr Helton Sithole while presenting findings of a recent study on conversion of residential properties into business offices, which is set to inform a new master plan that is being developed for the city.

The trend points to growing economic activity in the city, which dovetails with vision 2030.
