Responsible authorities have been urged to revisit laws against drug and substance abuse to ensure they are more deterrent for would be offenders.

The call was made by Students and Youth Working on Reproductive Health Action Team (SayWhat) lawyer Christian Chikengezhe during Star FM’s Morning Galaxy today.

Meanwhile Chikengezhe urged advocacy groups to intensify awareness campaigns against drug and substance abuse among youths especially in schools.

This comes as President Mnangagwa declared war against drug peddlers and cartels fuelling an increase in substance abuse, which threatens the attainment of vision 2030.
