The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) says it has tightened measures meant to curb side marketing of the golden leaf to unscrupulous buyers a practice that prejudices contractors.

In an interview with Zimpapers Radio News, TIMB public affairs officer Chelesani Tsarwe said side marketers will be liable to imprisonment as government moves to protect one of the country's major foreign currency earners and source of livelihood for millions of Zimbabweans.
