Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Minister, Professor Paul Mavima says government is working tirelessly to implement effective policies that seek to promote productive employment and decent work in line with its quest to have an upper middle income economy by 2030.

Professor Mavima was addressing delegates at the 61st Session of the Commission for Social Development in New York yesterday.

The event was marked under the theme creating full and productive employment and decent work for all, as a way of overcoming inequalities and accelerating recovery from the covid-19 pandemic.
