President Emmerson Mnangagwa has challenged the nation to learn from the life of the late Vice President, and national hero, Dr Simon Vengai Muzenda, who was a humble patriot who served his nation in different capacities before and after independence, including nation building, undertaking socio-economic transformation programs, and furthering international relations.

In his message, to mark the 18th anniversary of the passing on of the late Vice President, President Mnangagwa urged youths to embrace values that Dr Muzenda espoused so that they too can play leading roles in communities and nation building, as change agents for the attainment of vision 2030.

Dr Muzenda died in 2003 aged 80, after a long illness.
