Public Service Labour and Social Welfare Permanent Secretary Simon Masanga has underscored government's commitment in improving social service delivery and enhance quality of life for all, as set out in the National Development Strategy one (NDS1). 

The Permanent Secretary was speaking at a directorate meeting with the department of Social Development in Harare recently.

The NDS1 aims to reduce extreme poverty and improve access to basic social services in all its forms and dimensions, including narrowing inequalities through new interventions and modification of existing programmes.
