Concerns have been raised over the pollution of the Bulawayo City rivers, which are posing a health risk to aqua life and people in surrounding areas.

Speaking during an environmental management strategic dialogue for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Yesterday, Environmental Management Agency -EMA director of environmental protection Christopher Mushava said the meeting was also attended by other stakeholders including industry, residents and the business community.

Major contributors of waste that pollutes rivers include the local authority, industry, residents and illegal mining activities.
