Zimbabweans in the Diaspora urged to invest in national economic development programmes

Matabeleland South Minister of State for Provincial Affairs, Cde Abednico Ncube has called on Zimbabweans in the Diaspora to consider pooling resources and investing  in national economic development programmes.

Cde Ncube said the country has a lot of investment opportunities awaiting exploitation.

He said it is  very important for people to work together with a shared vision in fostering national economic development.

Minister Ncube was speaking during the burial of the late liberation war hero, Cde Masilu Moyo, who was buried in Dendele area of Beitbridge on Saturday morning.

Cde Moyo (68) died on the 6th of this month in  Gwanda following a short illness.

Cde Moyo is survived by ?eight? children.

Minister Ncube described the late Cde Moyo as a principled man and fearless soldier who remained committed to the economic emancipation of the country before and after independence.

He said the country’s independence came at a huge price involving the death of many  gallant freedom fighters.
