Zanu-PF supporters throng party headquarters to express their concerns regarding primary elections irregularities

By Vivian Mugarisi
Zanu PF supporters around Harare on Tuesday thronged the party headquarters to express their concerns regarding alleged candidate imposition, vote buying and other irregularities that they have been experiencing in their various constituencies. Speaking to Star FM News , Mbare residents bemoaned late delivery of ballot boxes on the day of elections .
Addressing the disgruntled supporters at the party's headquarters, Zanu PF national political commissar, Lieutenant General Retired Engelbert Rugeje urged supporters to write down their grievances and send them to headquarters so that they can be addressed.
He said his office is attending to the grievances received so far and re-runs will be carried out where necessary.
Zanu PF held its  primary elections on the 29th of April but they were marred by the late delivery of ballot boxes and missing names on the voters roll and the party had to call for a re-run in some constituencies yesterday and today in some areas.
