Twenty-four-year-old Mbusi Bekithemba Ncube has been installed chief Dakamela of Nkayi District in Matabeleland North province.
Local Government, Public Works and National Housing Minister July Moyo who was represented by his deputy minister Jenifer Mhlanga called for respect and preservation of tradition in the succession of chiefs to avoid family feuds. The Minister also challenged the new chief to work with the government in developing his area.
Chief Dakamela takes over from his late aunt chief Hleziphi Dlodlo who passed away in 2017.
