The Ministry of Health and Child Care has set up a temporary base at Chirundu Border Post to assist citizens travelling to and from Zambia with information and services, following a cholera outbreak in that country.

This was said by the Epidemiology and Disease Control Deputy Director in the Ministry Dr Isaac Phiri, in an interview with Star FM News after a meeting on cholera yesterday.

A quick survey at Road port in Harare showed that some buses scheduled to leave for Zambia in the evening, had stickers with cholera information while brochures and fliers were being distributed to the public.
