Renewed sanctions by USA, a blow to the country's efforts in rebuild the economy

The renewed sanctions against Zimbabwe by the United States of America have been described as a blow to the country's efforts to rebuild the economy.
In an interview with Star FM News, former Bulawayo South legislator and MDC-Alliance member Mr Eddie Cross, said both government and the opposition have a role to play in the lifting of the sanctions
Founding member and current chair of the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy Mr Vova Chikanda said Zimbabwe should no longer rely on the USA but should find solutions from within.
On Wednesday American President Donald Trump signed the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act (ZIDERA) renewing sanctions on Zimbabwe.
