The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has availed about 6 million dollars to the pharmaceutical sector for the purchase of drugs.
Pharmaceutical Society of Zimbabwe president Mr Portifa Mwendera told Star FM News that while the foreign currency availed is not enough to source the required stocks, it will ease drug shortages.
Mr Mwendera added that the three-tier pricing system that had been adopted by some pharmacies had in the past few days will be done away with.
