President Emmerson Mnangagwa has implored local authorities to provide proper sanitation for people in their jurisdictions, to prevent disease outbreaks such as cholera and typhoid.
Speaking during the official launch of Hopeville Housing project in Bulawayo today, President Mnangagwa expressed gratitude for the support government has received from its partners and the corporate sector in fighting the current cholera outbreak.
Meanwhile President Mnangagwa has praised Bulawayo province for taking a lead in responding to government`s call to rebuild the country`s infrastructure.
He said this while officially launching the 2 billion dollar housing project and a two million tomato processing plant in the city.
He said the two projects will play a key role in reviving the city.
