Potential investors express interest in cannabis production

Health and Child Care permanent secretary Dr Gerald Gwinji, says a number of potential investors have expressed interest in producing and manufacturing medicinal cannabis commonly known as mbanje.
In an interview with Star FM News, Dr Gwinji said the country is ready for the development of such products, as the necessary statutory instrument has been put in place.  
Dr Gwinji said those with the licences to produce the products will begin once cabinet approval has been secured.
