Political analysts hail government for introducing performance dashboards in all ministries

Political analysts have commended government for introducing performance dashboards to monitor progress in all ministries, saying there is need for an improved work ethic among civil servants.
Star FM News spoke to Innocent Kagodora and Godwin Mureriwa who both said although the performance dashboards are a welcome move, they can only work if Zimbabwe's civil servants develop a love for their work.
They said history has shown that the country's civil servants have a poor work ethic.
Meanwhile political analyst Professor Nhamo Mhiripiri says the formation of a transitional government as recently proposed by the MDC-Alliance is not feasible, given that Zimbabwe has just had an election which endorsed the ruling party and its leader as the legitimate authority in Zimbabwe.
Professor Mhiripiri's comments come after MDC-Alliance leader Advocate Nelson Chamisa told journalists at a news conference in Harare on Tuesday that the way forward for the country would be to form a transitional government.
