Mdc-Alliance lead counsel Advocate Thabani Mpofu says they have successfully filed a court application to challenge the presidential election results that were announced last week.
Addressing journalists outside the constitutional court in Harare on Friday afternoon, Advocate Mpofu said his client Mr Nelson Chamisa must be declared winner or there will be a run-off.
Advocate Mpofu said they are confident the courts are impartial and will use the evidence provided to make the right decision.
The MDC-Alliance listed all twenty-two presidential candidates as well as ZEC as respondents.
