Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services ministry requires $100 million from treasury

The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting services says the $45 million budget cap from treasury falls short of funds needed to support its projects, adding that the bulk of the funds are being channeled towards the digitisation programme.
Presenting its expectations on the 2019 budget to the parliamentary portfolio committee on media, the ministry's Permanent Secretary Mr Ndabaningi Nick Mangwana said his ministry requires $100 million dollars to effectively discharge its duties.
