The First Lady Amai Auxilia Mnangagwa says health services provision is directly linked to the development of the nation.
Amai Mnangagwa was delivering her keynote address when she officially launched the national Human Papilloma Virus vaccination programme in Mutare on Wednesday. She called on all parents to ensure that their girl children are vaccinated against the virus which is the leading cause of cervical cancer.
The First Lady pledged to continue assisting in the fight against cancer through her Angel of Hope Foundation. More than 800 000 girls aged between 10 and 14 are expected to be vaccinated under the programme, which kicks off with a special campaign which will run from the 14th  to the 18th of this month.
