Hatcliffe residents have called on government to make a decision on whether the Urban Development Corporation (UDCORP) will carry out development in the area which has gone for more than a decade without meaningful development. Residents were allocated unserviced stands in the area through housing cooperatives.
Chairperson of the Hatcliffe consortium residents association, Simbarashe Chikazi said residents also want government to regularise their property ownership through title deeds.
UDCORP was given the task to develop Hatcliffe consortium and other areas by government following failure by cooperatives to develop these areas.
