The Election Resource Centre has commended government for inviting international observers to observe the upcoming harmonised elections, to ensure that they are free, fair and credible.
In an interview with Star FM News, Election Resource Centre executive director, Tawanda Chimhini,  urged government to maintain the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission's independence by not interfering with the accreditation of international observers. Government recently approved a list of 46 countries, 15 regional and continental bodies to observe general elections set for July this year , as President Mnangagwa’s administration pledges for transparent, free and fair polls.
