Government has begun installation of an electric fence around Gonarezhou National Park in response to the rise in cases of human wildlife conflict, spreading of anthrax and foot and mouth due to the sharing of livestock and wildlife pastures. Speaking during the tour of the $3million fencing, Chiredzi South constituency Member of Parliament Retired Brigadier General Kalisto Gwanetsa said the department of veterinary services was spearheading the program as plans to revive the cold storage commission in Masvingo province have gone a gear up.
