First Lady Auxillia Mnangangwa has called on various organisations to come on board and assist in the fight against cholera and typhoid.
Speaking during a tour of Beatrice Infectious Diseases hospital in Harare on Wednesday where some cholera patients are receiving treatment, Amai Mnangagwa urged members of the public to practice good personal hygiene adding that there is need for the establishment of a day each month for stakeholders to come together and clean the streets.
Meanwhile the Zimbabwe Republic Police has suspended public gatherings that require police approval, in light of the current cholera outbreak.
Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi spoke to Star FM News.
