First Lady appointed ambassador of maternal and child health in Zimbabwe

First Lady Amai Auxilia Mnangagwa, has been officially appointed as the ambassador of maternal and child health in Zimbabwe, by Health and Child Care Minister Dr David Parirenyatwa.
Speaking at the official recognition ceremony in Harare on Wednesday, Amai Mnangagwa pledged to continue the fight against cancer, by ensuring that women are empowered to get screened and seek early treatment.
Amai Mnangagwa also pledged to fight against new HIV infections through increased awareness campaigns
