Female drivers facing challenges in finding employment

Female drivers say they are experiencing challenges in finding employment because of gender based discrimination by potential employers in the heavy vehicle sector..

Some of the drivers who spoke to Star FM News said despite having requisite documents ,potential employers do not offer equal opportunities to female drivers compared to their male counterparts .

Meanwhile Zimbabwe Union of Drivers and Conductors president ,Mr Fraderick Maguramhinga said they will engage relevant government ministries over the issue.
