Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association Spokesperson Dr. Mxolisi Ngwenya says the availability of drugs at public health institutions has improved, following a month long strike that saw patients being turned away at major hospitals .
Dr. Ngwenya told Star FM News that negotiations with the Health Services Board are still ongoing to resolve the pending issues, but doctors are currently satisfied with the agreements on paper.
During demonstrations at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals on the 26th of March, doctors vowed not to return to work until government availed enough drugs in public health institutions.
