Cotton farming on course in Chipinge South

...

Chipinge South Member of Parliament, Enock Porusingazi says cotton production has started well in the district adding that farmers have begun tilling their land and planting. He said farmers wanted to put more hectarage under cotton but they are failing to do so due to inadequate inputs such as seeds and fertilizers. Cde Porusingazi said he was happy with the Presidential Inputs Scheme that covers every ward.
"Germination is almost one hundred percenct an the rain pattern is very good, if it continues like this, we expect a bumper harvest," said Cde Porusingazi.
