Cholera death toll rises

Harare City Health acting director Dr Clemence Duri says the cholera death toll has risen to 25 with 3 765 cases recorded as at this morning.
In an interview with Star FM News, Dr Duri urged the public to practice good hygiene, use safe water and make use of water treatment solutions being provided for free to reduce the number of cases which is increasing every day.
UNICEF emergency specialist Blessing Zindi said they have put in place enough resources to respond to the cholera outbreak in affected areas as well as other parts of the country.
Meanwhile, CBZ holdings has donated 10 water tanks with a capacity of 5 000 litres towards the fight against cholera.
