Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to be sworn in as the President of Zimbabwe on Friday. Addressing a news conference in Harare on Wednesday, Speaker of Parliament Advocate Jacob Mudenda said he received a letter from ZANU PF nominating Cde Mnangagwa to be the next president in accordance with the country's constitution. Cde Robert Mugabe tendered his resignation as the Country's President on Tuesday, halting an impeachment process by Parliament.
